- 6 large squash
- 4 medium onions
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Chop vegetables; cover with ice water, mixed with 1/2 cup salt.

2Let stand 1 hour.

3Drain and rinse, then drain again.

4Pour boiled mixture over vegetables.

5Put on low heat 10 to 15 minutes. Get hot, but do not boil, the last 4 ingredients.

6Put in hot jars and seal.
