- 4 c. onions
- 5 Tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
Directions

1Grind squash.

2Grind onions.

3Cover with salt.

4Let stand 30 minutes.

5Drain; add vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, turmeric and pepper.

6Cut up red and green peppers.

7Cook 30 minutes.

8Yields 5 to 7 pints.
