  • 6 to 8 yellow crookneck squash
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth (canned)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • a slight dash of cinnamon
  • 1 c. half and half or cream
  • sour cream
  • fresh chopped dill, parsley or basil

Directions

    Boil cut up squash, onions and spices in broth until tender. Place the mixture in a blender.

    Blend until smooth.

    Add half and half.

    Blend until very smooth.
