  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cups Onions, Chopped
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (8 Oz)
  • 1/4 cups Ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoons Dried Oregano Leaves, Crushed
  • 3 drops Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups Uncooked Rice
  • 1 package Frozen Peas, 12-16 Ounces
  • 4 ounces, fluid Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Green Olives, Optional Garnish

Directions

    In skillet, brown meat and onion; drain off fat.

    Add tomato sauce, ketchup, oregano, hot sauce, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt and dash pepper.

    Bring to a boil, stirring often.

    Cook rice and peas separately, each according to package directions.

    On individual serving plates, layer rice, peas, meat mixture and cheese.

    Top with green olives, if desired.
