- 2 lb. round steak
- 6 whole carrots
- 2 large onions
- potatoes
Directions

1Cut round steak in 3-inch or 4-inch strips.

2Wrap steak around carrot and secure with toothpicks.

3Brown in fat in Dutch oven. Cut onions in rings and place on top of rolls.

4Salt and pepper to taste.

5Simmer until almost tender; remove from pan.

6Place quartered potatoes on bottom of Dutch oven.

7(If dry, add water.) Salt potatoes; place rolls back on top; continue cooking until potatoes are soft.
