- 1 to 2 lb. Polish sausage or kielbasa
- 5 lb. potatoes
- 1 pkg. frozen spinach
- grated Cheddar cheese
- mustard
- butter
- seasoned salt
- pepper
Directions

1Peel and boil potatoes until tender.

2While they are cooking, prepare spinach according to package directions.

3Drain well, then press out any remaining water.

4Drain water off potatoes, then mash with a potato masher.

5Do not use a mixer.

6Combine with spinach and stir thoroughly.

7Top with cooked sausage which has been cut into large chunks.

8At the table, each person tops his serving of Stompolst with the desired amount of butter, mustard, cheese and salt and pepper.
