  • 1 small box strawberry Jell-O (dry)
  • 1 box Duncan Hines cake mix (yellow)
  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 large box frozen sweet strawberries

    Mix Jell-O and cake mix.

    Add eggs 1 at a time.

    Add oil, water and strawberries (save 1/4 or more berries for icing on cake).

    Cook layers in 3-inch cake pans.

    Preheat oven to 350° and bake about 30 to 35 minutes.

    Cool cakes completely before icing.
