Strawberry Cake

  • 1 pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 10 oz. frozen strawberries
  • 1 c. oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar

Directions

    Dissolve jello in water. Defrost berries, chop up half package and set aside for frosting.

    Prepare cake mix as directed.

    Add 1/2 berries, oil, eggs and jello mixture.

    Mix well for 3 minutes. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 300° and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer or until done.

    Frost with powdered sugar mixed with margarine and reserved berries.
