- 2 quarts strawberries
- 14 cup lemon juice
- 7 cups sugar
- 1 (1 3/4 ounce) packagefruit jell pectin
Directions

1Remove caps from strawberries.

2Crush strawberries, one layer at a time.

3Place strawberries and lemon juice into a 6-quart saucepot.

4Gradually stir pectin into the mixture.

5Bring mixture to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.

6Add sugar, stirring to dissolve.

7Return mixture to a full, rolling boil and boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly.

8Remove from heat and skim foam.

9Can the mixture following standardized sterile heat canning process.
