- 4 c. fresh crushed strawberries
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/3 c. Karo light corn syrup
Directions

1In a large kettle, mix together strawberries, sugar and corn syrup.

2Quickly bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

3Cook rapidly, 30 to 40 minutes, or until jam sheets from a metal spoon and becomes clear in color.

4Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and skim with a metal spoon as foam rises to the surface.

5Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes, stirring gently.

6Pour into hot sterilized jars.

7Seal according to jar manufacturers directions.
