- bacon, enough to cover skillet
- 1 lb. round steak
- 3 medium onions
- 2 medium carrots
- 3 medium potatoes
- salt and pepper
- mushrooms (8 oz. can)
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 green bell pepper
Directions

1Cut round steak in thin strips across grain.

2Cut onions, carrots and potatoes into thick slices.

3Prepare in an electric skillet with lid.

4Cover skillet bottom with bacon, then layer meat over bacon. Layer onions, carrots, peppers and mushrooms. Potatoes go on last.

5Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

6Cook on High for 3 minutes.

7Add water and cover.

8Cook 45 minutes on low heat.
