Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. soaked rice
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Cook cabbage leaves in salt water a few minutes to soften. Drain.

2Mix all ingredients together except tomato soup.

3Add to mixture 2 tablespoons soup and mix again.

4Divide meat mixture into 8 equal parts.

5Roll up in cabbage leaves.

6Fasten with toothpick.

7Place seam side down in casserole.

8Cover with remaining tomato soup.

9Cover and bake 40 minutes at 350°.
