- about 1 qt. crab meat
- 2 c. onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. parsley, finely chopped
- 1 block butter or margarine
- 5 to 6 slices bread (day old is best)
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. liquid crab boil (less if you don't want it too hot)
- salt and pepper to taste
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook onions in butter until clear.

2Do not brown.

3Add celery, bell pepper, garlic, green onions and parsley.

4Cook over low heat until vegetables are tender.
