- 6 large green or red bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Remove seeds and membrane from peppers and rinse.

2Cook peppers in boiling water to cover, about 5 minutes; drain.

3Cook ground beef and onions in 10-inch skillet; stir occasionally until beef is brown.

4Stir in rice, salt, garlic salt and 1 cup tomato sauce.

5Heat until hot.

6Stuff peppers with beef mixture and stand upright in baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2-inch.

7Cover and bake 45 minutes at 350°.

8(Before covering, pour remaining tomato sauce over stuffed peppers.)

9Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.

10Sprinkle with cheese.
