- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Texas Pete
- pepper sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cans mushroom soup
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 6 green sweet peppers
Directions

1Cook ground chuck, onions and garlic in a skillet until brown. Add soup and seasonings.

2Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.

3Add cheese and cook slowly until cheese melts.

4Stir in bread crumbs. Cut peppers in half lengthwise.

5Remove seeds.

6Cook in boiling water with salt until tender, about 5 minutes.

7Drain.

8Place peppers on baking sheet.

9Stuff with meat mixture.

10Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
