- 6 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 16 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1 quart water, salted
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheese
Directions

1Cut off top of peppers, remove seeds and wash.

2Bring salted water to boil, add peppers and cook 5 minutes.

3Cook ground beef, garlic and onion in pan until onion is tender.

4Do not brown. Drain fat, add salt, rice and half of tomato sauce.

5Heat mixture, remove from heat and add cheese.
