- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. hot cooked rice
- 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
- dash of pepper
- dash of basil
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Directions

1Remove tops and seeds from peppers.

2Parboil 5 minutes; drain. Brown meat; drain.

3Add onion and cook until tender.

4Stir in cooked rice, cheese spread and seasonings; fill peppers.

5Place in baking dish; top with crumbs tossed with margarine.

6Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

7Serves 6.
