Stuffed Peppers

  • 1 or 2 green peppers per person
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. Minute rice
  • salt and pepper
  • grated cheese

Directions

    Cut top out of peppers and hollow-out inside pulp.

    Brown hamburger and onion.
  3. 3
    Cook rice as directed on box.

    Mix hamburger with rice; add shortening, catsup, salt and pepper to taste.

    Fill peppers and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Top with cheese.
