- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. half and half or light cream
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter, cut up
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 baked pastry shell or graham cracker shell (9-inch)
- ground cinnamon
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan, then stir in the cream or half and half.

2Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbling.

3Remove from heat and stir in margarine or butter and vanilla.

4Pour into the baked pastry shell and sprinkle with cinnamon.

5Bake in a 325° oven about 30 minutes or until the edge is bubbly.

6Cool completely on a wire rack. Serves 8 to 10.
