- small cucumbers
- 1 or 2 buttons garlic
- sprigs of dill
- 1/4 tsp. powdered alum
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Pack cukes in jars with all other items, except vinegar and water.

2Bring vinegar and water to a boil.

3Pour over cukes within 1/2 inch of top.

4Seal and set in the sun for 7 to 10 days.

5Don't open until 5 weeks later.
