  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda, sifted

Directions

    Bring margarine, cocoa, water and oil to a boil.

    Add flour and sugar and mix.
  3. 3
    Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and baking soda. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan or 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch cookie sheet with sides.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
