  • 1 lb. or more pecans
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Melt margarine in large cookie pan.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Gradually add sugar.

    Put nuts into meringue and coat well.
  5. 5
    Spoon nuts in buttered pan and turn to coat well.

    Bake in 325° preheated oven for 10 minutes.

    Take out and stir well.
  8. 8
    Bake 10 minutes more and stir.
