- medium head cabbage, cut in strips
- fried bacon cubes
- 2 Tbsp. flour (approximately)
- sugar
- vinegar
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cut medium head of cabbage in strips.

2Place in large skillet; cover with water and simmer until tender.

3Do not overcook.

4Fry bacon cubes in another large skillet.

5Remove all but 3 tablespoons of drippings.

6Add approximately 2 tablespoons of flour and enough water from cabbage to make a gravy.

7Add sugar and vinegar to make a sweet sour taste that pleases you.

8Add salt and pepper.

9Drain cabbage and add to gravy mixture.

10Simmer for a few minutes.
