Ingredients

  • 6 c. canned whole kernel corn
  • 1 1/2 c. canned milk or cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz. grated Cheddar or Colby cheese
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. diced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. margarine or butter, cubed

Directions

    Heat and drain corn.

    In mixing bowl lightly beat eggs.

    Add milk, onion, salt, pepper and most of the cheese.

    Stir well and add corn.

    Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Cube margarine or butter over top.

    Sprinkle with bread crumbs on top, then remaining cheese.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.
