- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak (cut 1-inch thick)
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 tsp. fat
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Dredge meat with flour.

2Brown in hot fat over medium heat. Sprinkle with seasonings.

3Add onion and 1/2 cup liquid.

4Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours until tender.

5Add second 1/2 cup liquid during cooking.

6Yields 6 servings.
