  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cut in serving size
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 can tomato sauce or tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • noodles or potatoes (optional)

Directions

    Combine flour, salt and pepper.

    Cover with flour mixture. Brown steak in oil,

    tomato sauce, water and Worcestershire. Cover; simmer for 1 hour.

    Add onion and green pepper.

    Cook for 30 minutes; serve with cooked potatoes or noodles.
