Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 5 to 6 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar, eggs and oil.

    Add all other ingredients. Drop by teaspoon onto sheet of heavy aluminum foil.

    Flatten slightly with hand.

    Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes until slightly browned.

    Makes 100 to 120 cookies.
