Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. lard
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • milk

Directions

    Mix all ingredients with finger tips, adding just enough milk to make dough stiff enough to be rolled out thin.

    Then sprinkle with sugar.

    Cut out with knife into squares or with a glass to make rounds.

    Place on baking sheet and bake at 350° about 10 minutes, or until brown.
