- 3 to 4 thick broccoli stalks without florets
- squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional)
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. tamari
Directions

1Use carrot peeler to remove thick skin from outside of stalks. Cut stalks lengthwise in thin slices.

2In large skillet, heat oil.

3Add garlic, sauteing briefly.

4Add broccoli.

5Saute 3 to 5 minutes over medium-high heat, until tender.

6Toss in tamari and lemon.

7Serves 3.
