  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. melted oleo
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. dark rum
  • 7 oz. pecans

    Add sugar, syrup and oleo, mixing to blend. Do not overbeat.

    Stir in rum and pecans.

    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
