- 1 c. light syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. melted oleo
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. dark rum
- 7 oz. pecans

1Beat eggs lightly.

2Add sugar, syrup and oleo, mixing to blend. Do not overbeat.

3Stir in rum and pecans.

4Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.

5Bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until filling is golden and firm to light touch.
