  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Sift together first three ingredients.

    Melt margarine, add cocoa and water; bring to a boil.

    Pour over first three ingredients.

    Add buttermilk, vanilla and eggs.

    Mix with spoon. Pour into greased sheet cake pan.

    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
