- 3 lb. cabbage, chopped fine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 to 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Mix cabbage, onion, bell pepper and 2 cups sugar together and let stand while preparing next part.

2Mix vegetable oil, vinegar, celery seed, salt and 1/2 cup sugar to a boil.

3While hot, pour over cabbage mixture and stir.

4Refrigerate and stir a couple of times.

5Better if made a day ahead of time to be used.
