- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

2Spread pecans in pan. Heat sugar and butter until boiling, stirring constantly, for 7 minutes.

3Immediately spread over nuts in pan.

4Sprinkle chocolate pieces over hot mixture.

5Place baking sheet over pan to contain heat and melt chocolate.

6Spread melted chocolate over candy. While hot, cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.

7Chill until firm.

8Makes 3 dozen.
