- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together, except pecans and powdered sugar, and spread in a 15 x 11-inch pan.

2Whip egg white into soft peaks and spread over batter.

3Sprinkle with chopped pecans over batter. Bake in a 325° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

4Cut after 15 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
