Tomato Bake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 lg. tomatoes
  • 2 cans refrigerator biscuits, not buttermilk
  • 2 bunch scallions
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 c. shredded Colby or possibly taco cheese
  • Basil to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

    Place biscuits in bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

    Pat into a crust.

    Cover with sliced tomatoes.

    Chop scallions and sprinkle over tomatoes.

    Sprinkle on basil, salt and pepper.

    Mix mayonnaise and cheese and spread over tomatoes.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min till mayonnaise browns with bubbles.

    Let sit 5 min before serving.
