- 12 to 14 cooking apples, chopped (16 c.)
- 2 c. apple cider
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Directions

1Core and chop apples.

2Combine apples and cider in a slow cooker.

3Cover; cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or until apples are mushy.

4Puree in food mill or sieve.

5Return puree mixture to cooker.

6Add sugar, cinnamon and cloves.

7Cover and cook on low for 1 hour.

8Will keep several weeks in the fridge or pour into hot jars and seal.

9Can also be frozen in freezer containers. Makes 8 cups.
