Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 trout, skinned off the bones
  • 4 large potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 head green cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 to 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 c. onions, sliced

Directions

    Boil cabbage just to soften; cut onions, peppers, mushrooms and potatoes.

    Cut trout by slicing off of bone.
  3. 3
    Combine all ingredients into tinfoil.
  4. 4
    Add butter on top and any seasonings. Fold up tinfoil package and place on broiler or barbecue.

    Cook for 1/2 hour or until vegetables are done.

    Serves 3 to 4 people.
