  • 8 oz. skinned, boned, cooked turkey, diced
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1/4 c. diced red onion
  • 2 tsp. light or no fat mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. lime or lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. each: salt and ground red pepper
  • 2 whole pita breads
  • 1 oz. alfalfa sprouts

Directions

    In bowl, combine all ingredients except pitas and garnish; refrigerate for 1/2 hour.

    Slice each pita halfway around edge and open to form pocket.

    Stuff 1/2 of turkey mixture into each pocket and garnish with alfalfa sprouts.
