Turkey Roll Recipe

  • 1 pkg. turkey breast filets
  • 1 box cornbread stuffing mix made according to directions
  • 1 sm. onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Directions

    Place 1/2 of the turkey filets in baking dish (13 x 9 inch).

    Make stuffing and add in onion, sage, egg and bread crumbs.

    More or possibly less bread crumbs may be used to make stuffing thick sufficient to mold.

    Dip stuffing onto center of turkey.

    Pull sides of filets up around stuffing to make a roll.

    Place remaining turkey on top and fasten with toothpicks to hold in place.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.

    While baking, mix lowfat milk and soup to gravy consistency.

    Pour over roll and bake an additional 15 to 20 min or possibly till thoroughly heated.
