Upside-Down Pumpkin Pie

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. melted oleo

Directions

    In a large bowl blend together and place in an 8 x 14-inch pan the filling, sugar, spices, eggs and milk.

    Sprinkle over top of dry cake mix and nuts.

    Pour melted oleo over all.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°. If not done, turn off oven and let set for 10 minutes.
