  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 oz butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

    1. Preheat oven to 175°C.

    2. Cream butter and sugar till creamy. Then beat in eggs one at a time. Add in vanilla extract.

    3. In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt.

    4. Into egg mixture add some of the sifted flour mixture and then add some milk. Do this step alternately about 3 times. However, make sure you end with the flour mixture.

    5. Divide batter into buttered cupcake moulds (or cupcake liners) and bake for about 20 minutes until light golden.
