Vegetable Casserole

  • 1 small can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 (No. 2) can Veg-All
  • 1 (No. 2) can LeSueur peas, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 tsp. margarine
  • 2 pkg. crackers, crushed
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onion and celery in margarine until tender.

    Mix all ingredients.

    Put in casserole dish.

    Top with crackers and melted butter.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

    (Do not overbake.)
