Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef, browned
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 to 6 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 5 to 6 carrots, diced
  • 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 1 (46 oz.) can water
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (5 lb.) bag frozen vegetables

Directions

    Brown and season ground beef.

    Mix together raw vegetables, tomato juice, water, tomato paste, canned tomatoes and sugar in large stew pan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Add ground beef and simmer until vegetables are tender.

    Serve.
