  • 2 gal. ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut in slices
  • 6 onions, sliced
  • 16 ears corn (cut corn from cob)
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced okra
  • 1 c. (or more) lima beans
  • 1 c. (or more) peas
  • 1 c. (or more) green snap beans
  • 4 sweet peppers, chopped in small pieces
  • 1/2 c. salt (scant)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar (White House apple cider vinegar)

Directions

    Cook the lima beans, peas and snap beans 1 hour.

    Drain water and add to the other ingredients.

    Cook for 1 hour.
  4. 4
    This makes 7 quarts.
