- 3 leeks, sliced
- 3 c. potatoes
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. light cream
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. minced chives
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Cook leeks and peeled sliced potatoes in chicken broth, covered, until tender.

2Run through food mill or sieve or blender. Return to pot and add other ingredients (except chives and paprika).

3Do not boil after you add the milk and cream.

4Serve either hot or cold and garnish with the chives and paprika. Serves 4.
