- pastry (enough for double crust pie, made with butter flavor Crisco)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. minus 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Roll pastry into rectangle.

2Slice butter and scatter pats all over pastry.

3Sprinkle with cinnamon.

4Roll pastry as you would for a jelly roll, starting on long side of rectangle.

5Curve roll around inside greased 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

6Mix sugar, vinegar and water.

7Pour over roll.

8Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until slightly browned and syrup is bubbly and beginning to thicken. Serve as is or with heavy cream.
