  • 5 clove smashed garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bacon
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1 can san marzano tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon hot red pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lawry's garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

    fry bacon on medium heat till browning. Add red pepper and onion and stir till softening.

    add garlic. reduce heat, add butter. cook for 5 mins till garlic softens

    add vodka. stir and reduce by 50% ( about 1mins)

    ADD tomatoes. simmer till thickening. ~5mins

    Add salt and pepper- stir in to taste. add cream and then turn off heat.
