- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. milk (room temperature)
- 3 c. plain flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
- 1 1/2 tsp. walnut flavoring
Directions

1Blend together butter and Crisco.

2Add sugar and blend.

3Beat eggs separately and then add to mixture.

4Add salt to flour, then add flour and milk alternately to mixture.

5Next, add nuts and flavoring.

6Beat until like whip cream.

7Pour into tube pan and bake 1 hour and 40 minutes at 350°.
