- 1 pie crust Recipe
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs yolks
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup walnuts broken
Directions

1Prepare and blind (pre-bake) bake one 9 inch pie shell

2Beat the egg yolks until smooth. Stir in the milk and mix well..

3Combine the flour and sugar with whisk.

4Combine melted butter with the vanilla.

5Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir to mix thoroughly.

6Pour the mixture into a double boiler set at low boil and stir constantly until well thickened. Stir in the walnuts and pour into a blind baked pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for about ten minutes.

7Remove from oven, cool, cut and serve.
