White Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 3 slightly beaten eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 lb. marshmallows
  • 1 Tbsp. gelatin, softened in cold water
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can white cherries or fruit salad
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 c. whipped cream

Directions

    Cook eggs, sugar and vinegar in double boiler until thick. Add marshmallows and gelatin.

    Remove from fire and stir until marshmallows begin to melt.

    Add pineapple, cherries, fruit cocktail, pecans and whipped cream.

    Let set in cool place.

    Slice and serve on lettuce for salad with whipped cream for dessert.
